"Your membership in the academy shows your support for the music and the industry known as Carolina Beach Music. Even though it reaches far beyond the Carolinas, Beach Music as we know got its start right here in this region. We at the Carolina Beach Music Awards have worked hard and diligently to preserve and promote beach music for the past 22 years. We feel that this great music has to be taken from the Carolinas and spread all over the world. We can only do this with your help and financial support. For the past 17 years we have brought the Awards to the birthplace of Carolina Beach Music, North Myrtle Beach, SC. We feel that there is no better place to showcase and honor this music than where it all started. Your membership fees help us keep an ongoing influence of this great music for all future generations to hear. We thank you for your support and ask that you tell all of your family and friends about this great cause.
Being an Academy member, you will be part of the nominating and voting process this year and will be sent a ballot to participate in selecting our winners when the eligibility period ends.
